I spent four years editing a 7,500 circulation car club magazine. It was seen as the poisoned chalice and the only reason I was picked was because no one else applied. It was a fabulous time, with lots of highs, a few lows and many memorable times. I made friends. I learnt a lot about myself and a lot about editing.
I made mistakes, and not only in the early stages. Some I should have anticipated, others seemed to wait in ambush. Even these were fun in a way.
This book aims to allow you to enjoy the good times without the aggro of the bad. Learn from my experiences.
Holding each month's magazine in your hand will be a thrill.
